Apollo: Watch, I know what she's doing and unless we stop her that crystal will be destroyed. You said its weakness was absolute darkness right? She knows...
*Closing her mouth around the Assimilation crystal before it gets too big Pyrite starts to breathe in deeply, as if preparing for something.*

Jod:In order to exploit that weakness the crystal must not have any other sources of energy. That said, I think we should try to do something anyways.

*Pyrite fires a beam of darkness at the Assimilation crystal, severly damaging it, while simultaneously shooting it into another dimension she opened up. Then she starts running towards the dragons. Attracted by the power the elders are giving off.*

Jod:When she threw it up into an alternate dimension, I knew where it was. But if she sends it into an alternate dimension while it's in her mouth, I have no idea where she could've sent it.

*Jod's eyes start glowing, then a big shadow seems to cover up the whole area in darkness*

Jod:Watch my technique. I used it against Scorch.

*Jod starts hitting Pyrite from all over*

Pyrite: Stupid old fool..... *She looses a blast of light into Jod's shadow. Her powers seem to have gotten stronger since shooting the Assimilation crystal away.*
Pyrite: You elders may be getting stronger, I don't know how, but my powers are as high as your limits. If your limits go up then so do mine!

*Simutaneously as the elders intensify the fire around them, as if they were made of it, their crystals shatter into tiny fragments and are cast into the air. They all let out a mighty roar, their fires merge creating a large rainbow coloured inferno. Then in an instant it disappears and there is silence.*
Pyrite: *Looks around* That's it? Hahahahaha! They have failed!

Back in the dark dimension...

*The Assimilation Crystal continues to grow with the energy it drains from inside Pyrite with the spikes. It lets loose a blast of light so powerful that it rips a hole in the dimension. The Assimilation gets back into the Dragon World and begins looking for victims.*
