These arrows are tipped with spikes from the Assimilation Crystal. I'm thinking if we can get an archer like Hunter to help us, these just might do the trick.

Boreas: Ignore him, its a better idea than the last one. But will the bow launch the arrow with enough force from long range to penetrate the medallion? I had to drive it in with all my strengh.

I was going to ask if any of you know how to make a bow that's small enough for a single person to operate, but large enough to launch an arrow a decent distance.

Ceres: I don't really know a lot about bows to be honest. As you are aware, we dragons don't need them. But I will happily reinforce any wood you have with my magic and knowledge of plants. That should help give it a nice 'twang' and stop it from breaking.... easily. Though I don't know of any decent archers around these parts, they all tend to be travellers. Constantly honing their skills.

Ceres: Though Yew is a good wood choice don't you think it would be better to use bamboo as well? It will reinforce the bow and make it more flexible. And what are you going to use as a grip? Yew is really smooth, the archer would drop it as he shoots the arrow.

Ceres: *her eyes flash brown and some bamboo grows between them, she winks at Dusty* Don't forget who I am. Anyway, bamboo is flexible and can be used on the belly of the bow to give the arrow more balance in flight, so it should shoot a lot further.

Ceres: Why not use these fern leaves? Or perhaps the feathery leaves of dill or fennel? Sorry but I am quite against killing an animal to build a weapon that will kill other things..... Even if that thing is a backstabbing murderer herself!

You know what? I'm just going to modify Hunter's bow. It'll be much simpler.

Oh yeah... taking lives has become so... natural for me ever since this adventure started. I used to be disgusted by it... but now it even brings me pleasure sometimes.

Jod:If you can cast a shadow over Pyrite's weak spot, I'll be able to teleport there through another shadow not so far away and bring the spike in.

Artemis: Hhmmm..... The only flaw I can see in that plan is that we are forgetting that thanks to the medallion Pyrite has all the powers of the elders and some of the God's. She can control darkness better than you or even me Jod....
Geb: You're such a wet-blanket, thats the best idea we've had all day!
Artemis: What do you propose we do? Knock her over with an earthquake? Pyrite is learning more about her newfound powers everyday, if we don't defeat her soon she we be well out of our forte and we'll never defeat her!
Isis: Calm down guys, arguing won't solve anything. We nearly killed each other fighting only a couple of days ago!
