Amy: Okay... but how are we supposed to get back? I don't think we'd be able to make Chaos Control strong enough to get back to our home unless we have all the Chaos Emeralds. We only have 4.

Sonic: Well, the Chaos Emeralds can increase abilities dramatically. They also amplify the abilities of Chaos Control, which allows you to use it in a more powerful way. You can slow down enemies, or warp using Chaos Control. It's uses are practically limitless. But, if you get all 7 Chaos Emeralds together, their power can be unleashed in the most amazing ways.

Sonic: Pretty much. They can work miracles. I was in the same position as Fire is now, where Mephiles killed me with Chaos Lance, but the Chaos Emeralds were able to revive me.

Amy: Oh great... when Eggman brought us here, Fire's body wasn't with us at the time. It's still back in our world.
