The Assimilation Crystal doesn't know this god's weakness, but what if I was to help it?

*Dusty pulls out a crystal spike from his bag*

This spike was lodged in me when we tried to recapture the Assimilation Crystal. What if I were to drive it into Pyrite's weak spot? The Assimilation Crystal would quickly drain her energy.

Jere's the plan. We'll stop some distance and release the Assimilation Crystal. Then we all distract Pyrite while Boreas brings the spike in. Once that's done, we leave the rest to the Assimilation Crystal.

*Jod releases the crystal and goes off with the group to distract Pyrite*

*As the crystal approaches Boreas dives towards Pyrite's chest, and moves to stab the crystal into the medallion, but as he does a series of events unfolds. Somehow the crystal shard scratches Boreas' paw, splattering blood onto the medallion. The medallion glows furiously, then Boreas' crystal glows black on his forehead. Pyrite notices and bats him away. The rest of the elders are flung in different directions by an invisible force as soon as Boreas is hit. Their crystals glow also. A wave of pure energy is blasted out of the crack in the medallion due to all the energy Pyrite has absorbed in her greed. The assimilation crystal, caught in the blast, gains a crack in its centre, which steadily grows. The elders' crystals start to glow white hot.*

OOC: The trouble is there's only me and you here I think (well am not sure if Kiara is, but she hasn't said anything yet), and we can't really carry on with the climax if everyone isn't here...... I know how it feels to play catch up, but thats because I'm 4 hours ahead of everyone else, so it can't be helped.
