*Blaze is flying through the air. He's never stopped believing that his friends, Spyro and Cynder, survived what happened at Mt. Malefor 10 years ago, after leaving the academy to stop Gaul the Ape King*

Blaze: It's a shame what happened. Eveyone else gave up on them, they all thought Spyro and Cynder were dead. Eventually my hopes got on Frost's nerves, and she broke up with me. *sighs* I wish there was a way to stop all this sadness, but the past can't be changed...

*Keeps flying off to the west*

*Shudders and flies near the forest, when he sees something black, and something purple*
