Sephiroth: *sees Cloud from up above, but is then attacked by dreadwings* Tifa, I've seen Cloud, he's about half a mile from here, northeast! I'll be fine against these things, just stop Cloud before he gets any further.

Blaze: *flies up behind Sephiroth, their backs to each other* Not my idea of a fun fight. Too few enemies, really.

Sephiroth: I agree. Let's just make this quick though. Even a few enemies can become a problem if left alone for a while or underestimated.

Blaze: *smiles* Alright then, let's do this!

Sephiroth: *raises his right arm in the air* Stigma!

Blaze: Vulcania!

Sephiroth and Blaze: *pillars of flame surround them that draw the dreadwings closer to them*

Cloud: Don't you remember the last time you tried to help me? Loz hurt you back in Aerith's old church, knocked you unconscious. And then while you were trying to help fight Bahamut SIN, you were knocked out.

Sephiroth: *had floated down with Blaze after the conflict was over* Do you think that matters? Despite whatever harm came to her, or you, or would come to either of you, she stuck by your side, no matter what. She's the most loyal person I've met. Well, back on Gaia, that is.

Cloud: *removes Sephiroth's hand from his shoulder, elbows him in the stomach and pushes him back into a tree with one hand* Don't touch me, I don't completely trust you yet Sephiroth. Even if you do want to change, I can't trust you completely, not yet.

Blaze: *has a shocked look on his face*

Cloud: Don't you understand? Sephiroth, he's still caused too much pain for me to completely trust him. He destroyed the trust I had in him, how much I looked up to him! He controlled me using the cells of him that were implanted into mine and Zack's bodies when we were experimented on by his father, used me as a puppet. He killed Aerith at the City of the Ancients, destroyed Midgar with Meteor, tried to take over my body after we defeated him. Then, he caused the Geostigma, which killed many people, Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo were remnants of him. He, through them, hurt you, hurt our friends, and what's more... when we fought that last time, when he had me pinned to that section of that building, he wanted to destroy everything that I held dear to me to break me! He's done too much, and you trust him completely!?

Sephiroth: *walks away, affected by what Cloud said*
