Rick was by then hopping from building to building. He was in a town that was called "Station Square" which announced from ad's and flyers stapled to the telephone lines and such. He continued to hop until he decided to rest and check out the view.

"Aye, this place ain't so bad......blimey even teh air here is fresh.....but....I still don't see any of my mates," the Australlian Kangaroo muttered, and something caught his eye.

He notice a crowd of people gathered at a construtcion site. For what reason, he had no clue, but he did notice a lot of helicopters hovering above the area and Media News were probably there.

"Might as well check it out....though I won't be visible." He muttered and hopped towards the construction site still hopping from building to the next.

Before the News Media could blink, the emerald was gone. Someone had stole it.....or something Many human beings murmured doubtfully and wondered where the marvelous stone had been taken or what became of it, but Rick knew too well that one person was behind this...or two.

"Blimey, am I happy as a koala that Knuckles didn't tag along, or else he'd gone nuts. I'm pretty sure I know who did it, but I don't have enough proof yet...." Rick whispered.

Rick stayed on the same roof listening to the arguements of reporters and camera crew until he was fed up with it himself and left the area.

"Crikey......these........folks surer can fight for an hour or so," Rick thought as he jumped off the roof to land on a tree.

"You got me there but I can make a blimey guess....someone just snatched something what I think was a Chaos Emerald....and they fussing over here because they were either going to do something wit it....research.....crazy sciencetific nonsense junk or probably send it off to a museum. Either way its gone,"
