The Legend of Spyro: The Movie

Hey i have just recently found out about this movie, i haven't read that much into it yet. Is it actually true or is it just something that people are all saying?
It would be good if it is true. Just one question though, in all the movie art, Spyro looks huge and looks like an adult dragon, is that what he is going to be like in the movie, is he like that in any of the games, i haven't played the most recent ones. It will be just weird if he looks like that, he looks evil, Spyro is not evil???

He's not an adult. this is an early version of his movie model, if anything. It's apparently going to be the movie of A New Beginning with a few small changes.
And you should play T.L.o.S, it's really good (I know there some people here who'd disagree with me on that, but try em' anyway).
I think on the matter of his size, it'a just an angle thing.

i just can't wait it will be so awesome i really can't wait to see the Dark Master looks like it will be so awesome and the for dragon gardians or what ever there called (the guys that teach Spyro is elements) and sparx i always liked sparx and he will be awesome in the movie and Spyro and Cynder.........They look so awesome!!!!!! i can't wait i will see it he very very very first day it comes into the cinema and i will get it when it very very very first day it comes into the stores and i will watch it 24 hours a day 7 days a week!!!! big_smile

It is not from "the makers" of Eragon; the blurb of "From the producer of Eragon" on the poster simply means that John Davis, who was a producer on Eragon, is also producing this movie. IMDB lists eight producers for Eragon and five for Spyro. It's not a one-man show.

Judging any movie before there's even a trailer is short-sighted. Anyway, it's entirely subjective; some people liked Eragon. Some people will like Spyro.

I think the characters would be as good as the game (or better)

But the only think I wait for the movie is the internacional traduction (im ecuatorian, you know) for the spanish movie (or at least spanish subtitles)

Well, i have to say that the movie is most certainly going to be interesting, but the creators of eragon are making the movie, and eragon ended up being a year late in theatres. But then again, eragon was a better book. This is about spyro though, and despite the creators leaving out large chunks from eragon and litteraly messing up the whole thing, they should have to stick to the theme here. But then again, is this going to be based off of the new spyro or the original spyro, both were good, but i'm pulling for new spyro. The other problem I have with it is that despite it being only a few months from 2009, i'm wondering, why haven't they posted ant sites of the movie. Are the creators going to skimp out again and change the date of realease. I hope not.

when i was a kid i always wished fro a movie to be based on spyro

but now there is and there basing it on these terrible new games
i want the old spyro back with insomniac and a movie based on the original trilogy.

there is absolutely no way this movie is going to be good

Hey man, just put In My Opinion.
Cause not everyone is thinking what you are thinking.
Eragon was based off of a Book, and Spyro is Based off of a game.
Thats a differance.

Lets all agree on one thing... If the movie isnt worth it and they ruin it... Lets start and angry mob with torches, Pitchforks....and shot guns and go after the director and every person that messed it up <D
