ah thats just we needed another random comment, but i think back on topic that spyro will have a new game called The New Age out after the film, im just guessing about the name, lol i would laugh if i was right XD

Yeah, sounds about right, and even the name would make sense. :-P Hopefully they will start to work on the new game before the movie is released, I don't know if I could stand waiting 3 more years or something after the movie, that would be awful. hmm

okay, so I didnt read ALL of whats going on, but I will say this:

I like both old AND new spyro, I hope (and definitely wouldnt mind) if they still used the newer spyro design, but redid some of the old levels from the first three and maybe others inbetween. (along w/ newer ones) like combine levels. I really liked the portal thing too, I found it quite creative. And I found the idea that dragonflies were your life meter, rather than an ACTUAL meter, so I think they should use that once again, except make more colors so you wont die too easily, and maybe give cynder one? I dont know, it might be cool. I just wish Sparx wouldnt talk, I liked the idea that dragonflies didnt talk at all.
And I still enjoy freeflight A LOT! They should fix it up a bit more in the future though, I cant really stand the whole platform nonsense anymore (I can understand it w/ a character that doesnt have wings or doesnt show much ability to fly) I got pretty annoyed at that too in the old spyro games, you saw him freely fly so much, but during gameplay you could only glide unless you got a power up, that...still annoys me to no end. And his wings looked quite fly-worthy too. > : |

but anyway: They should make more characters, or, make spyro like a 4 player game, bring back some old dragon characters if they needed too. (just work on their personality a little more) that would seem cool..to me that is. yikes

Collecting jems too were a big thing for spyro, not just gathering them for health, I rather them be something of more USE than that. And I miss flaming the sheep/frogs/whatevers, that was fun.
Even if spyro remains -serious- I'd like a bit more humor from him, and the entire game itself. So there would be a good bit of kickbutt if youre feeling crappy and need to beat something up, but at the same time cheerful stuff to even it out. hmm And I like the armor too, they should add A LOT MORE! Except they can also be elemental, and you could upgrade not only your elemental powers, but also your armor w/ the gems you collect. (i'd like to say more but its 5 AM here and I'm tired)
but this is all just me.

Cool sounds good, and good to here that someone else likes both series and would also like to see a 4 player co-op to. smile Its a shame they didnt include much of the old spyro in the new spyro series. But in DOTD they did a lot, the climbing, the big tree in valley of avalar is similar to the massive one on the summer forest level by the hurricane portal and also having the moles back in spyro.

If I could simplify the original trilogy and the Legend of Spyro trilogy I would have to say this: The original had great gameplay, but it had a weak story, and the Legend series had some annoying gameplay, but had a good story and characters. I strongly agree with a company's rights to experiment with their games, but the company needs to combine successful elements and trash the bad ones.

Portals, gems, and fodder were all part of the Spyro gameplay, and it seems wrong to not include them.

So, I would hope to see some "back-to-roots" gameplay, but they do not need to trash the new storyline.

I've seen and read so many stories of what happens after Malefors defeat, i think there should be a 3-d animation show for what happens after dawn of the dragon, telling of the adventures Spyro and Cynder have together. Dawn of the Dragon wasn't the end in my opinion, it's the start of a new beginning.

(By 3-d animation, i mean something like what they did with the Clone Wars show on cartoonnetwork.)

Yeah that movie was a flop. The whole 3-D thing is just screwed over and overrated in my mind. Anyways they will keep making games after this...and hopefully they become a higher quality then the recent creations.

Yep with technology with the way it is going it will become more detailed and work better, which is bad for me as i only got a PS2 lol The only thing i can see happening with the film this year, is not any cartoons but i think merchandising, then after that there will be a game.

What they should do:
1. I agree with everyone, They should Remake Spyro 1, 2 and 3 for the PSP, PS3, PC And Wii Maybe.
2. They should do more games to do with the relationship between Spyro and Cynder.
3. Bring out lots of Spyro movies!
4. Make a new trilogy related to Tlos
5. They should never, EVER stop making Spyro games.
6. They need to make a movie about Spyro and Cynder
7. They need to bring Spyro new abilities e.g. Poison, Fear, Shadow, Wind and maybe Water.
8. If they're going to make more Spyro games and Movies, they Should keep Elijah Wood playing his voice!
9. They should never do a Spyro game where he has to die in it. I can't cope thinking about that.
10. If they're going to make a movie, I think they should do a scene where Spyro finds his family.
11. If they're going to remake the First 3 Games then the graphics should be improved!
12. They should put all the GBA Spyro Games On PSP.

Wow, Clearly I need alot more from Spyro! LOL
