Frost: *looks at Blaze, as if asking him what to do*

Blaze: *nods* *mentally to Frost* Just... do it Frost. It's not your fault... it's theirs. I wouldn't blame you for anything.

Frost: *looks at Ignitus and is about to open her mouth to say something*

Ikazuchi: Delaying the decision. Your penalty... one of your children dies. Now then... let's see who...*looks into the cages and sees Ignitus Jr., grinning evilly* He'll do...

Ignitus Jr.: *is cowering in fear*

Ikazuchi: *looks around at Blaze, Frost, Ignitus and Breeze, and sees that Frost has a sad look on her face, and Blaze is enraged* So... he's your son, Blaze and Frost? Of course... he looks exactly like you and your father do, Blaze. Your appearance has changed Blaze, you know look exactly like Ignitus, except for your body and eye colors. *teleports Ignitus Jr. out of the cage* Now then... the death will be slow, and painful.

Ikazuchi: *growls from the blow* Oh... you really shouldn't have done that!

Kurayami: Well then... you deal with her Ikazuchi, I'll deal with the brat. *starts casting lightning spells at Ignitus Jr.*

Ignitus Jr.: *screams in pain*

Blaze: *is baring his teeth in rage*

DB: *appears before Blaze*

Blaze: You! What do you want!?

DB: Relax... I mean no harm. I've come to help.

Blaze: Help? Why, after all you've done!?

DB: You said yourself, light is not good, and darkness is not evil. I've realized that now. You're not as strong as you should be... you are only light. To be at your full strength, a person must have light and darkness within them. I am your darkness personified. If we join together... the darkness will overcome, for a short time, and you will become Dark Blaze... but that will grant you Convexity powers for a short time. If we don't... your son will die.

Blaze: *looks down at the ground* Fine...

DB: *touches Blaze's forehead, and melds in with him*

Dark Blaze (Blaze): *looks at Kurayami and Ikazuchi, and when he speaks, his voice has an echo effect* You two are going to pay for this... *breaks the shackles around his legs*

Blaze: Now... to get back home... *teleports back to the academy, where the rest were teleported by Lori*

Blaze: *growls* Ikazuchi and Kurayami... They captured the fourteen of us, my parents, Frost, myself, Frost and my own children, and the newborns of my parents... They tried putting us in a catch twenty-two. A situation where you're in trouble no matter what option you choose. The options were... Frost and my father would mate... while my mother and I watched. Or... they would kill our children slowly, painfully, permanently and one at a time. Either way... the four of us would be dealt great wounds, no matter what happened. When Frost was about to tell my father to agree to the mating... Ikazuchi said that we were delaying the choice.

Ignitus: The penalty for the delay was that one of the children would die. Ikazuchi chose Ignitus Jr. Before Ikazuchi could begin harming him, Lori intervened.

Frost: But... Kurayami attacked our son with electrical spells. And... our son was screaming in pain. DB appeared, but no longer meant any harm, choosing instead to become our ally... and join with Blaze. DB's darkness completed Blaze's light... and as such, Blaze is stronger than before, because the two sides of him are working together, than against.

Breeze: Ikazuchi and Kurayami are dead but... we fear it may be too late. And... Ignitus Jr.'s death may be permanent...

Shiro: *growls* It figures that my grandfather would stoop to this level. Attacking a newborn... only a few hours old... It's despicable. Unfortunately... my grandfather is a master of spells. His spells are deadly to his enemies.

Ignitus Jr.: *is whimpering, and his heartbeat is fading*

Shiro: *closes his eyes, saddened*

Ignitus Jr.: *his heartbeat returns to normal and he yawns*

Frost: He's tired. Understandable... since he was just hurt so gravely before.

Ignitus Jr.: *crawls up Blaze's back and onto the top of his head, lays down and curls up between Blaze's horns, falling asleep*

Shiro: *chuckles* That's adorable.
