Spyro: Well.... Illegal magic.... Is this a law made to protect the civilians... or give our dark enemies an advantage in war.... This law has been placed by the ancestors.... but they did not know the risks we the dragons *Looks at Sephiroth* and humans of the present would have to go through, this is the present, and the future generation must evolve from thoes laws! like we have evolved from our primitive races... give us the right to combat with this magic.... *Looks at Ignitus* how was that?

Spyro: *thinks for a second* Dark and light must be determined on how we use magic! not what magic we use! Such as there is a clear difference in self defence or defence of a loved one, then attacking a random citizen!

Sephiroth: We're not saying that we should use it whenever we please, only as a last resort, and only in the most dire of circumstances, when all else fails. There will be times when there is a foe that can't be defeated by any other attack, and in which they would destroy the world if they were not stopped. It's those times where the forbidden spells may be the only options.

Sephiroth: If I'm not mistaken, Tifa, you and the members of AVALANCHE used summons that had such a spell, more specifically, Shiva, with her spell, Doom, that would cause instant death, except to those immune to it. So technically, you have used such a spell, in a sense.
