She was happy that Boss became the priority of the group , she sure had to solve some things with this monster.

Ignoring the conversation over Jade , whom she can't bear since she flee from the fight in the clock tower , she said :
"I do agree about Boss. He said he'll kill us to have enough power to stand up to Xenophon himself...It means that he already have the power to kill us if needed maybe..."
"Or that he just consider you as almost as powerful as Xenophon is in his opinion. Boss always had a limited views about everything..."
"...What ? Who are you ? That voice..."

A red-brown dragon , surronded by torn bandages , went out from the place Hugo vanished...Septentrion !
"Yes , Lucky , Deadly , whatever , I don't have the time needed to tell you my whole life. If he really attacked you , I think he used only one versatile spell and didn't do much. Azraël is FAR more difficult to beat than that , but Boss gives him great power at the price of slowing him down. If Azraël had enough time to load his nova thingy , let's say 10 seconds , he could blow up a whole village , or the entire forest. He only wanted to play with you I guess...Or he didn't want to kill you yet. As for Victor's son , since the guy died...A pure mystery."

Did he just said that Victor died ?!? How could he...?

"Victor is a joke compared to Luna , both in power and tactic. He defeated all HEROES until here , and Luna clearly , unlike them , doesn't consider herself as any kind of a hero , even if she did a good action in killing this stupid Boss's puppet. I think you should bet on her if you want to beat Azraël like that. Physicals assaults are useless against his new clear-out powers , considering how looked like the previous...and in magic I don't think that any of you can match him...Ummm...Maybe one of you can , but still."

She began to interrupt him , as she watched more closely at his wounds.
"For how much time are you in this state , Sept' ?"
"Oh , don't worry , I won't have the time to regain my entire mobility before you killed them all. And I began to feel it less...Luna has been bitten by Victor , thank god that I came at the right time , she survived it and clearly didn't want to become a vampire. I reduced the amount of poison inside of her with a painful trick , she's in a stable state. Tsumetai didn't like the story of my real past besides , if it bothers you."
"Your real past ? What do you mean by that ? Ulrich kept dodging the subject so I guess I know the wrong version...I think it will interest almost evetybody here..."

Sept' was embarassed as well ; now Ulrich's wife...Septentrion thought that he already told her about it but he didn't...

An horrible , brutal guy , nobody wonders why his son became like that. He turned me , after around 20 years of pratice , into a killing machine. Some villages disseapeared from the map 40 years ago ? It's me who erased the population , soldiers and citizen alike , dragoness and women alike...I prefer to keep for me the details , you see."

Isaria was way too sceptic about such story , but it wasn't completely nonsense...
"So...All these "Please , push me away !" and such , in where you asked me to run away violently..."
"My old insticts. I don't want to give you details about it , okay ? ...It's finally over , everyone is aware of who I am , Luna was the first to guess it , I don't know how she learnt it. I'm not afraid of taking punches , kicks and such from all of you , I deserved those. Azraël have to give me a thousand of slaps , this would be a good pratice..."
"Not in the state you are...Two slaps then , if you really want them , but I don't see how could we punish you , since you're trying your best to make up for it. I know people who won't accept it that well , but that won't change my admiration towards you."

She turned herself away , trying to imagine all this...While Sept' , of course lying on the ground given his state , was waiting for the others reactions. His expression was pretty neutral during such a tough story , he expected some notices about it. He wasn't looking sad at all , and couldn't figure out what was the true sadness anyways...Just..Some guilty , coming from nowhere. Sept' never felt like that before in fact...

Ophelia glared at Jade and raised an eyebrow. "Well apparently you're coming with us," She replied simply, "Shame, if it were my decision it'd be a bit different, but hey, there's nothing I can do, is there?" She narrowed her eyes and looked at Jade smugly before walking away towards Silver.

As Ophelia wandered off, Nemo approached Jade and whispered, "One wrong move and I may just turn nasty." He then followed Ophelia, with a number of terrible thoughts running through his mind. W-What did I just say? Why did I say that...?

Both of them reached Silver. "Where to next then?" Ophelia asked.

Sept' wasn't back , he was worrying about it even more.
But the savage dragoness was still there , quiet , trying to understand what was making him so sad. They echanged some groans , before going back to Luna , who was in her bed , like she was before Victor came.

She said , noticing Tsumetai distress in his face :
"Your friend isn't back then ?"
"No..."
"I hope for you that he didn't met some baddies in his road. You have to fulfill your objective now : defeating me. Bad thing you want a fair fight , like me..."
"It's out of question , since the beginning , and you know it."
"Yes , but do you have the choice ? You'll get the integrality of my power if you do. And you'll be able to save everyone. Doesn't it make up for it ?"
"NO ! I won't kill my own sister ! There is another way. You join me. And everybody will be happy. Together , we'll be twice as hard to beat..."
"Like if it was that simple. Did you already try to protect someone , and succeeded ? I'll become their target of choice if I join you. I'm too weak to hold a single fight now and they'll be back soon. Kill me before they do , or THEY will get my powers. It would mean the end of you all...You never could protect anybody until now , don't tell me that today you will."

Tsumetai lowered his head ; indeed he could protect his sister , and indeed he failed into saving her numerous times. But it wasn't the right time to give up.
"I'm not a god...But now I can fight to the death if needed. For you I will. If it isn't enough...I don't care. I prefer to die than to see you dieing..."
"And so do I..."

Luna's answer really surprised Tsumetai , she was looking down as well. She continued , saying :
"Death doesn't even scare me. Nightmares , darkness , pain are my everyday's friends and events. But seeing you dieing , whenever I killed so much people...I can't , I only can make you suffer , at the price of some tears I can't retain. That's why I failed in building my new world. Now I don't have the choice. I won't ask for your perdon , I won't change , I won't become someone good and I won't be forgiven. But for today I'll fight on your side."

"We can beat this Boss he's not immortal so we can and we will beat him!" Argil said then turned to Silver.

"Nope nothing else but Oph, and Nemo will not be too happy about traveling with Ms. Nagger over there another thing hey wait Silver I know you want to go after Boss we all do but what if we spar against one another you know test each other's strengths are enemies keep getting stronger and stronger and we need to be ready if we have to I will heal everyone after so does that sound okay?"

Silver put some thought in it. It had positive and negative sides. "Well, it seems like a good idea, and we eventually will get stronger by fighting each other, but first of all, it's exhausting, meaning that if some enemy would find us, it will be harder for us to cope with. Secondly, it's risky to do, since we possibly increase Xenophon's power with it, especially now there's a chance of Nemo changing. And lastly, and most important, I think, though it's just fighting for your own gain in technique, that the atmosphere won't get better when we are fighting against ourselves. I mean, I do not even dare to fight Nemo or Ophelia anymore... I mean, I could've killed her a few times and I ruined his life, no way I want to hurt any of them. Though you can heal, the pain will still be there when hitting each other. However, you are right as well, we need to get stronger and test each other to do so and be able to defeat more enemies, but I think the risk is at a very high level. Unless any of you thinks it's better to do so... If not, we'll go to where that cat is. Can't be far from Charmed Ridge, can it?"

"It'll be a long trip, I guess. Summer Forest and Evening Lake lie pretty far away from each other, with Autumn Plains, Winter Tundra, and Midday Gardens in between. If we're quick we can get to Winter Tundra to spend the night there, then get to this cat."

A long trip indeed...But...The group isn't in a proper state to get going.
Isaria shared this thoughts with the group :
"I do agree with the trip more than with the fight ; however , look at the state of the group. I mean , if we get going or start to fight each other , we won't be able to hold a single random meeting with the dark forces. Both are good ideas ; but we just can't right now. Nemo and Silver just fighted each other then Azraël so they'll be exausted soon , Sept' can't fight , Lila can't I guess , Jade will flee once again if the fight turn badly...And I won't stand alone only using arrows , I'm too weak to fight against them for now it seems...I must find power first.
Without a good rest , the group saw its strenght drastically reduced in a fight."

Sept' agreed as well...Even if he was still amazed by the low number of reactions about his past , and all these lies he had to spread everywhere...Not a bad thing finally , whenever it won't erase this recurrent guiltyness...
He decided to ressort to the good values he learnt so hardly these last years.
"Like we said in Helios' army , order is the key of justice , happiness and discipline ; everything in fact. You should give a role to everyone in your group , to make the whole group more efficient than all of you taken one by one. Enemies will get you by the advantage of their superior group cohesion if you don't work on it. Even if fighting each other is a good way to make a cohesion in the group , you shouldn't start there. You don't need more pure power yet , you won't overpower a possessed Azraël in a one-to-one fight anyways...And do you know what will be the role of the two guys surrounding him in the next fight ? The vampire didn't fight ; the ninja acted defensively , where he clearly doesn't shine. Don't count of your group's superiority next time they will attack you like that , they will be harder to fight and more organized , unless they're completely stupid , which they aren't actually...
Ummm...
With Boss I still have a doubt about it , but Azraël sure know what he's doing , so watch out.
But now , all you should do is dropping the people who is unable to fight behind , like me. The closest city will be fine...I don't want them to focus on this wide open side of the group."

"I will. I didn't fight so hardly as any of you did , and I've got good enough senses to hear someone coming..." Isaria said , looking away. "I won't sleep that easy anyways , giving the fact that Luna's castle is so close to the Charmed Ridge...They may be already in danger."

Septentrion agreed with the night...But wait , there's nothing to drink...He knew he won't really sleep for the whole night.
"Umph , without a strong beer I won't sleep as well. I could be the next , but I can't fight , it's a little dangerous...Victor did a good work , that's not that easy to paralyse me in less than a minute , but he did. Good thing he died as well...Vlad' has been avenged."

And then , after a short silence and closing his eyes , he came back to the subject he was on sooner.
"So , what about the organization of the group ? I guess Silver is the chief , being the pillar of the group he should have been anyways in this place , I mean on the front. For the right arm or the hardhitter , near to the chief in battle , I propose Nemo , he's just equal or second to Silver in strenght , if not superior.
After Ophelia may always be close to Nemo , since they both proved that they fight together well , it's always better to use combinated attack whenever we can , Argil will be behind to support with his healing magic , unless you really need to make an massive attack of the group...
About Jade and Isaria , ummm...With Argil , unless they like close range...
The two who can't fight , that is to say me and Lila , we'll be in the center of the group ; staying behind is risky against a vampire , who can be stealth like nobody else and since this one is pretty silent , we're better watching out ; and staying on the front is out of the question , since attacks will come mostly from there , knowing Boss' brutality , he will force Azraël to attack like that in most cases , even if he doesn't want to.
Well , that's my point of view , from what I see. Like it ?"

((Huh? Sleep? I thought it was still morning... Daytime at least.))

Nemo had been quiet for a long time, simply listening to the group's conversations. He heard Sept mention that he should be deputy team leader, and couldn't help but feel a little offended. I wish they wouldn't judge my abilities based on what I'm capable of during an outburst, he thought, When I'm in my normal form I'm nowhere near as powerful. I'm not worthy to be given that role. It's a little stereotypical... Still, he didn't want to cause a scene by complaining, so he thought it was best to keep his mouth shut.

Ophelia had been listening too, with interest. She had been thinking about the idea of sparring with one another. She thought of it as a great opportunity for her, since she had always wanted to become stronger.

She gave a smile and a nod of approval to Sept before wandering over to Silver. "I like the idea of the sparring, as long as no-one gets hurt. In fact I think it sounds fun!" She said with a sunny smile.

"I don't," Nemo muttered, getting to his feet and facing them, "I mean, if you think about it, I've 'sparred' with most of you guys already. I don't fancy doing it again, sorry."

Ophelia understood. She gave him a sympathetic look before turning to Isaria. "So... Charmed Ridge. We're in Avalar right now, so how will we get to Charmed Ridge on time? It's on the other side of the world, in the Forgotten Realms!"

"That depends on what you call "on time"." Silver answered to Ophelia. "And you're right, it's on the other side ((Yikes, I'm lucky to have played YOTD lately to know what you mean with the other side big_smile )), so it will be a long trip.

So, what we can do is spar with each other now and start crossing Autumn Plains and Winter Tundra, and maybe, depending on the time, get to Midday Gardens already. We'll be there within a day or two. I don't think "Boss" will be very fast on his bike, let's estimate that he's there tomorrow or so, so that gives him not very much time to cause trouble before we're there.

We can do the sparring now or if we're too exhausted later on.
I shall only spar without pain and without Nemo, for obvious reasons, but how can we train in a good way against each other with this magic and all without hurting each other? It'll be difficult, so I suggest using targets or I can try to find some shield spells. I think there's some kind of spell which makes the target immune to the caster's magic, but I'm not entirely sure it exists. Need to look it up. I understand your enthusiasm, Ophelia. We all like to increase our power and be able to do more, so it's ideal. We just need to find a way not hurting each other if magic is used, but also a way to aim precisely and accurate, like you would do in a battle, and that's only possible if you hit the target."

Listening to Ophelia's question , she answered , after hearing Silver's answer :
"Yes , on his bike he won't find the trip exhausting but he won't be very fast. I shoudn't worry about an eventual fight , because I know that my children will win , but I still do...They're strong. And I should be as strong as they are...Give me a minute."

She had an idea in mind. Since her arrows won't work , why staying "Isaria" ? She turned on herself , as light was surrounding her. The transformation was 5 seconds-long , but after she turned into...
Master , once again !
Her voice was largely different , and if it wasn't Isaria , it would be difficult to tell what was the gender of this mysterious kunoichi , purple-dressed and with an hidden face. Many light equipment could be seen in the suit.
"I trained Tsumetai under this form. He herited his senses from me , as well as Luna did. I'll train you , come. As long as I focus , you won't touch me as easy as you think you can...But you can try anyways. That's the point of this training."

Sept' never saw the transformation once in fact , and was impressed by Isaria's intonation , who changed at once.
"Master ?...Wow , it was you , I completely forgot about it , if I ever learnt about it...No problem then , you don't even need a sword. Since you don't need to hide yourself anymore , it's a good idea.
Well , it wasted all my organization...Whatever , I don't know the group enough to judge. In fact , it would be a better idea to let you make this up on your own...Name a chief or something such , and let him give a role to the group , AFTER the fightings sessions , so you know who can do what , and where he shines. Is this a better idea ?"
